FAVORITE PICK
If I had one wish in life I know what it would be
And I wish to God that wish would come true
Although I know it's a lot for someone who's like me
I still want my wish 'cause it is you
Maybe I wish for you so much 'cause the feeling's strong inside
And I know my heart's not playing any mean tricks
Everyone needs to have love relations to survive
And with me, you're my favorite pick
When I'm dreaming I want to be your lover
Just like every other guy then I'd know exactly what to do
I would be cool and you would see me always in control
Except anytime that I'd be kissing on you
It's all I need to love someone who does the things you do
It's plain to see how I can be in love with you
Maybe I wish for you so much 'cause the feeling's strong inside
And I know my heart's not playing any mean tricks
Everyone needs to have love relations to survive
and with me, you're my favorite pick

GOD HAS DEALT
Your beauty is like a picture
It paints a thousand words
Your voice is blissful harmony
Unlike I've ever heard
Your elegance is that of royalty
A jewel within its crown
Your aura is that of heaven
The only place on Earth it's found
Your personality is explosive
Like the Fourth of July
Your heart is untainted purity
Free from coldness and lies
Your tongue speaks in daggers
Carving love deep in my heart
Your eyes are the light of hope
The windows from all that's dark
Your hug is like a cradle
That holds, comforts, and warms
Your friendship is like the embracing
Of loving outstretched arms
Your touch is as soft as silk
And electric when it's felt
All these things are just like cards
The hand that God has dealt

ELOQUENCE ESCAPES ME
Astonished by your smile
That appeared like the rising sun
My stomach rolled up in knots
I couldn’t control my tongue
I fumbled for the words
Necessary to turn your head
But I could not find the handle
And simply smiled instead
Uttered sounds similar to language
A glimpse of heaven takes me
Awe and wonderment leaves me bewildered
As eloquence escapes me
Fascinated as beauty became you
And flourished before my eyes
Never saw a wonder in this world
Until you materialized
I stuttered and stammered syllables
Seemingly in broken English
Yet, you smile as if unintelligible words
Didn’t exist in sound between us
Stood aghast as I fell apart
Right before your very eyes
But something in your persistent smile
Made me suddenly realize
That words I tried to speak
Weren’t necessary for your attention
Just like your smile got me
My smile showed my intentions
